Thursday meals and daily goal

Sorry for the late post! I got home pretty late last night and went straight to bed.
(After I ate a rice crispy treat! Bah! I had a good day though, so I am not worried. It was delicious, btw.)

Breakfast:
Strawberry Banana and grape smoothie with plain soy milk and a splash of mango nectar.
(Before my run I had a piece of Whole Wheat bread with honey.)

Lunch:
Veggie Sandwich with avocado, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, yellow mustard and red wine vinegar. Pickled beets and some carrots dipped in almond feta.

Dinner:
(I ate in the car so I couldn't get a picture!)
Grilled Salmon Sandwich w/baked sweet potato fries.....Yum-O!...From Au Naturale. If you live in Salt Lake City and you haven't been there yet, you need to go! Their regular order of Sweet Potato fries is 2 points! Also, they post all of their nutritional info at the restaurant! My whole dinner was 12 points. Not too bad for "fast food".

Daily Goal: Yesterday's goal was to beat my 5k time of 40:09. I did it! 39:28 Baby! I got this great new app for my droid phone called Jog Tracker. It uses the gps to tell me how far I have gone and how fast I did it. I love it!

Today's (Friday's)Goal: I have a project that I am getting paid to do that I really need to get done. Today!

  1. I LOVE sweet potato fries!!! Too bad I'm not near Salt Lake City...I would be getting those everyday. :)

Congrats on improving your 5K time. I need to get back to running (I've been slacking big time) and seeing your post on it makes me want to do it.

  2. I am totally going there. I live here and never even knew they existed. Thanks. Do you have a quick and easy way to make your smooties? I want to start doing them for summer but am not excited about the work and cleanup required to use a blender. Any suggestions?

  5. THANK YOU!!!! I just installed the app. I have a Nike+ sportband that does the same thing. But if I'm ever out and about without my shoes and band on this would be awesome to still keep track. Thank you so much for telling us about this.

  6. Thanks everyone!!

@Lesia - I have a cheap-o version of the Magic Bullet. I love it so much. All I have to clean is the chopper-upper thingy and the cup goes right in the dishwasher. SO worth the money.
