Peanut Butter Cookie

So this post was going to be about My Fitness Pal but...Wow!  You know those runs that have you feeling unstoppable and energized when you get back?  For me those runs are few and far between.  Especially now that I am getting back into the swing of things after being pregnant.  Last week I felt like I was in the worst shape of my life (and I probably was) after trying to get through C25K week 3.  My run on Friday was pretty kucky.  (I was on vacation on the dreaded treadmill at the fitness center)  I was out of breath, my legs hurt, and my joints hurt.  So when I saw what this week's schedule looked like I was a little nervous.

5 Min Warm-up brisk walk
3 Min jog
90 Sec walk
5 Min jog
2.5 Min walk
3 Min jog
90 Sec walk
5 Min jog

I'll admit, those 5 minute jogs scared me a bit.  (Funny to think that a year and a half ago I could run 6 miles)  But, I got out there and I did it.  And I felt awesome!  Like I could have kept running when it was time to walk.  (But I didn't because I really want to follow this program and don't want to wear myself out or injure myself too soon.)  Yayayaya.

So I'll post about My Fitness Pal later.

Are you wondering why this blog post is titled Peanut Butter Cookie?  It's because I typed this whole post with a cookie sitting next to me.  It smells amazing.  It looks amazing.  And I know it tastes amazing because I ate two yesterday.  I'm not going to eat it.

  1. I made peanut butter cookies yesterday too because my daughter has been begging for them. I ate too many last night. And then today I told myself I wasn't going to have any. Well, I had one with lunch. Then I said that was it. Well, I had 4 more tonight!! Dang cookies! I can't control myself. I will gain control!
